Buttered Egg Noodles

Posted on September 10, 2011

2 Wyler’s chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup real butter
8 ounces egg noodles

Directions:
1 Bring water, 2 boullion cubes and 1/2 stick of butter to boil using med to high heat.

2 Add egg noodles.

3 Cook until noodles are desired texture.

4 (About 6-8 minutes) During last minute of cooking add remaining 1/2 stick of butter.

5 (You may add additional butter if desired. Also you may use 1 can of chicken broth instead of bullion. I suggest using bullion).

Way too much butter. Used 4 tsp of powdered bullion instead of cubes. The chicken flavor seemed right. Added about another half a cup of water because they were too thick. Would probably try 2 cups water, and at least half the butter, if not less.
