Made for Christmas Dinner yesterday. Used a 10.5lb Superior Spiral Ham. It was too big for the crock pot and I had to cover it with foil to attempt to seal it up. I’m not convinced it worked. With 6 adults and 4 kids it was too much anyhow. A 7 lb ham may have fit better and wouldn’t have left so many leftovers. I used 12oz pineapple juice and aimed for the specified amounts of brown sugar and maple syrup but didn’t measure. Cooked on low for 4.5 hours before turning to warm basting every hour or so. It was just barely starting to dry out, so I might cook less before turning to warm, but it could have been because the lid wasn’t fitting correctly. Overall just about what I was looking for in a ham recipe.
