ABIGAIL’S GERMAN POTATO SALAD

Posted on April 1, 2016

4 Boiling potatoes
3 slices bacon
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
¾ cup Abigail’s Sweet and Sour Dressing

Cut prepared cooked potatoes into ¼ inch slice. Cook bacon in medium fry pan. When crisp remove and crumble on paper towel. Cook onion in bacon fat over medium heat until tender. Stir in flour stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly, over heat. Remove from heat and stir in Abigail’s Sweet Sour Dressing (recipe in this book). Return to heat, stirring constantly until it boils. Stir in potatoes and bacon. Stir gently, making sure potatoes are covered. Remove from heat when mixture becomes hot and bubbly. (Serves 6)

Yum-Quick Hint: Use bottled sweet sour dressing. This recipe can be served hot or cold.
