So, I’ve been seeing the latest holiday commercial offering from Target quite a bit lately. The song that plays during it is quite catchy (in my opinion). Here it is for those that haven’t seen it.
So, I set about trying to figure out what song that is so that I could download it. I was excited when I came upon a site called AdTunes (quite handy for determining the music from a commercial). I was even more exited when I found a post in their forums related to the Target commercial. Then all of my hopes and dreams were taken away when I found out that the song doesn’t really exist. It was just an existing song that had new words put to it especially for the commercial. This means that I can’t actually download the the song that I thought would be my “holiday theme song for 2007”. Here is the original song (My Patch by Jim Noir). Still fairly catchy, but not very holiday-esk. I think my holiday listening for 2007 is now ruined.
