Cheesy Potatoes

4-5 large potatoes, sliced
12 oz. Velveeta cheese, grated
1 jar Hormel real bacon bits
1 small onion, grated
8 oz sour cream
1 tsp fresh chives
1 tsp paprika
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine potatoes, onion, cheese and bacon bits in a large bowl. Add paprika, chives, salt, pepper, and sour cream and toss well.

Place all ingredients in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour 1 cup of water over it. Bake at 350°F for 35-40 minutes or until browned.

    I did not use chives and just added paprika did not measure it…..baked it covered for 40 min then uncovered it and added corn flakes with butter and cooked for like 15 – 20 more min uncovered.

    Also used frozen shredded hash brown potatoes instead of fresh potatoes.
